Twelve Apostles & Great Ocean Road
The Great Ocean Road one of the most spectacular natural landscapes on the planet. Our day starts early. Meeting point is at 6:50 am from State Theatre on St Kilda Road. We travel inland in the morning and arrive at the Twelve Apostles before all the other tours arrive. Then travel back through the world-famous coastline of the Great Ocean Road.
Your Day at a Glance
Your first stop will be at a rural town for breakfast, where you can get in a good stretch and enjoy a coffee (at own expense). From there you go straight to the Twelve Apostles limestone formations.
after viewing the Twelve Apostles we continue on the Great Ocean Road and visit the Razorback rock formation, the enchanting Loch Ard Gorge beach and its fascinating shipwreck story, and the awe-inspiring Gibson Steps.
Lunch stop (at own expense) will be at the lovely town of Port Campbell (or Apollo Bay), if you fancy it, you can go for a little walk to the beach for some amazing pictures!
We then travel through Great Otway National Park where you will experience a 20 minute rainforest walk.
As we continue along the Great Ocean Road coastline you can take in the views while your guide shares some fascinating stories and facts about the region.
We make a stop at Kenneth River where you will have the opportunity to encounter some cute koalas and colorful parrots, make sure you have your camera handy!
The final stop will be at the quaint coastal town of Lorne for another epic beachfront view.
The expected arrival time back to the State Theatre on St Kilda Road, Melbourne is around 7pm.

Tour Times & Meeting Point
Departs Melbourne daily at 7am, and we are normally back to Melbourne between 6:30 - 7 pm.
Meet at the Theatre (Arts Centre) on St Kilda Road, which is 3 minutes walking from Flinders St station and Federation Square.
Traveling with Children
We offer special rates for children between the age of 7 and 14 years. Please check the booking for form for up-to-date pricing.
This tour is not recommended for Children 6 years and under.
Breakfast & Lunch Stops
There's a morning tea stop on the way to the Twelve Apostles around 9 am, and then a stop for lunch at Port Campbell, before heading back to Melbourne.
On both stops there are places to eat and/or buy drinks and food take away. These are own expenses, as meals are not included at the price of this day tour from Melbourne.

Swimming?
There are two stops where you have an opportunity to swim: the Lock Ard Gorge and Port Campbell. However, it depends on tides and waves conditions, and the water is normally verry cold!
